The big day is finally here! As of today, September 1, Texas’s expanded Cottage Food Law officially takes effect and that means we can start bringing you a whole new world of flavors from our Hutto bakery!
We’ve been dreaming, testing, and taste-testing (the best part) for months, and while we’re not rolling out everything all at once, some new goodies are ready for you right now, and others will be making their debut over the coming weeks.
Here’s what you can get starting today:
- Jars of homemade Salted Caramel — creamy, rich, and perfectly salty sweet.
- One new cream pie — debuting today: Peanut Butter Cream Pie in mini and full sizes!
Coming soon this fall (and worth the wait!):
- Lemon curd — tangy, buttery, and perfect on scones, cupcakes, or by the spoon.
- Chocolate Silk Pie — luscious chocolate filling in a buttery crust, topped with whipped cream.
- Flavored Coffee Creamers — the perfect morning pick-me-up!
- Seasonal specials — think pumpkin pies, pudding cups, and all things cream cheese!
Why we’re rolling things out slowly: Some recipes, especially refrigerated desserts like lemon curd and cream pies, take time to perfect so they’re exactly right for you. By staggering the launch, we can focus on making sure each new menu item is as good as — or better than — your favorites.
